August 2022 Meeting

We have resumed our meetings at the North Bellevue Community Center. We also run the normal Zoom session. The community center address is:

BELUG: Supporting Linux and open source for 18+ years.

The meeting start time has changed to 6:30pm to accommodate the building hours.

This is the Zoom link with the password:

And a shout-out to the GSLUG memebers. I subscribed to the gslug-announce list and have added it to this mailing. Does this work for the glsug people?

We changed the meeting format last month. This month we will revert back to the earlier format, which allows better communications with the remote zoom members. In addition, if someone brings in a machine with particular problems, we will move support for that into another area and get a summary report when they are done investigating.

This month we plan to have a short presentation on thenala command for Debian and Ubuntu. There may also be a presentation on one of the Pine64 products.

Last month we discussed these topics and others:

Access to 3.5" floppies and many recommended Linux distributions.

Discussed Raspberry PI 400

We discussed Chrome OS again and installed Xfce.

And, from previous meetings, these are often discussed topics:
